Development Projects

Addison Parks and Recreation development is guided by the Parks and Recreation Open Space Master Plan. This Plan was developed to align Addison's parks and recreation services with community expectations, and to identify the key projects that will transform our community.

In addition to enhancing the Town, our goal is to keep residents and visitors informed of project background, timeline, budget, updates, and ways to stay informed.

Les Lacs Pond Improvement Project

In the 2019 Bond Election, voters approved improvements of the Les Lacs Pond which include repairs and enhancements.

Bosque Park Reforestation and Improvements

In 2019, the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan identified key future improvements for Bosque Park, including a comprehensive tree survey and reforestation plan. The plan also called for enhancements to plantings, site furnishings, streetscape elements, and overall site infrastructure to support the park’s long-term sustainability and appeal.
