Pickleball

The Athletic Club has covered, outdoor pickleball courts available for use by all active members. To reserve a court, call the us at 972-450-7048, stop by the front desk, or reserve online. If you are reserving a court for the first time, call the front desk to get a unique member access code.

• Reservations limited to 90 minutes
• Reservations can be made up to 3 days in advance
• Same-day reservations can be made before noon by calling the front desk
• Members limited to one reservation per day
• Back-to-back reservations cannot be made for two members of the same household
• If there is not a reservation, court use is first-come first-served

Open Play is a designated time when pickleball courts are reserved for drop-in games. Players of all levels can join, rotate in, and enjoy friendly matches without needing to book a court in advance.

Open Play Rules

To ensure everyone enjoys their time on the courts, please follow these open play rules:

1. Game Format:
   All matches are played to 11 points (win by 2).

2. Rotate After Each Match:
   After completing a match, rotate off the court to allow others waiting to play.

3. Use Paddle Stacks:
   Please place your paddle in the stack to indicate you're waiting for the next available court.

4. Guest Policy:
   Residents may bring up to four (4) guests during open play.

5. Be Courteous:
   Show good sportsmanship and be respectful of others’ time and space on the courts.

Coach Ray Love has competed in national tournaments since picking up a pickleball paddle for the first time in 2013. He is a PPR certified coach who enjoys teaching current and future players. Whether you want to learn fundamentals, drills, or just more about the game, email Coach Ray for private lessons.

Coach Tatiana Ruhl is a RSPA certified professional coach and professional pickleball athlete with over 10 years of coaching experience. She was a top ranked junior in Texas and competed for Prairie View A&M at the NCAA Division 1 level. Coach Ruhl enjoys working with players of all all ages and skill levels. Instruction and coaching at Athletic Club facilities is limited to those who have a contract with the Town. No outside instructors are permitted.
