On Thursday, April 2, at the request of the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), a statewide test of emergency alerting systems will occur between 10am and 12:30pm. As part of this drill, local jurisdictions across Texas may test systems used to notify the public during emergencies.This will only be a test. No emergency action is required.

A temporary dog park has been built at the corner of Marsh Lane and Beltway Road so that pet owners in the area will continue to have access to an off-leash area while the Redding Trail Extension is under construction. Drinking fountains will not be provided during construction, so all guests are asked to provide drinking water for themselves and their pets.
